What service do we provide?

In general we provided a premium 3D resin printing and painting service.

  • We have various commercial licenses to print models designed by other creators, see Licenses.
  • We 3D print custom provided STL files that our customers own the right to.
  • All miniatures are primed using an airbrush using gray primer by default or light/dark skin tones when requested.
  • We print and paint miniatures on a commission basis.

Why does it take 'X' amount of time for my order to be fulfilled?

We are a small printing business and not a large manufacturing facility which would use molds to create their products. Lead time depends on multiple factors:

  • Printer availability, which we will expand when it's needed.
  • We try and print with as much detail as possible, because of this the print time increases.
  • Complexity of the print. We take our time cleaning the prints to provide the best possible product. It is possible that you need to do finishing touches like sanding attachment points, which isn't uncommon with 3D prints..
  • Careful packing of the products.
  • Shipping delays, which still is an global issue.

What 3D printers do you have?

We have an Anycubic Photon Mono X 6K and an Elegoo Saturn 2 8K

Where are you based?

We are based in Europe (the Netherlands).

Why doesn't every miniature come with a base?

That might be because of a couple of reasons:

  • Some provided files/miniatures don't include a base, which isn't always a bad thing since it allows for more customization options.
  • Some miniature don't need a base because they already have a standing platform. Some miniatures you don't even want a base, e.g. mimics.

What's the idea behind the miniature sizes?

It's not always easy to see how big a miniature is. Some miniatures have base sizes and lengths mentioned in the images but not all of them. By indicating the general size of the miniature as Small, Medium, Large, Huge and gargantuan (D&D 5e size references), we hope to give our customers more insights on what to expect. In general a large miniature will take up 2x2 1" squares with its base but depending on the model, the miniature itself could be bigger than the base or have a different base shape. Please note that some sizes are estimates.

What are prices based on?

There are multiple factors that determine the price of our products. General maintenance and supplies are factored in all the prices, like: safety gloves, IPA isopropyl alcohol, resins, primers and other cleaning supplies.

Then there are model specific factors like: print time, amount of resin used and model complexity.

The cost for the licences are also factored into the price.

We try to provide high quality miniatures and every order deserves our full attention and care. Depending on the model that can take up a lot of time with increased cost but it will be worth it.

Why is it only posible to pay with PayPal?

In order to support multiple payment options we need to invest in other modules for the site and 3rd party providers. This will happen in the future when we get our small business running and are able to make additional investments. For now we need to start somewhere.

Commissioned miniatures

Commission fulfilment lead time?

Painted commissions are partly dependent on the order lead time mentioned above. Other then that factors like painting style, colour scheme, commission backlog and my own availability might cause increased lead time for your order to be fulfilled.

However, we will keep you posted on the ETA of your commission as best as wel can. When discussing the details of your commission, we will give you an estimate of the completion of your order.

Can I cancel my order / can I get a refund?

You can cancel your order. Unfortunately we can't always issue a refund. Refunds are possible If your order hasn't been processed yet. Once your order is being processed we can't issue a refund because of the custom nature of your order and  service. Please contact us prior to canceling your order.

Delivery

Do you ship globally?

Yes we do, shipping costs may vary depending on the country of destination. Shipping is expensive unfortunately. Also note that additional costs like import duty or taxes might be applicable.

My order has been sent but hasn't arrived yet, what's the status?

There are (for now) limited tracking possibilities once an order has been sent. When we grow more as a business we can add more detailed tracking information so our customers can be fully track their orders whereabouts.

Some reason why your order might take longer to deliver:

  • Global traffic delays
  • Stuck at customs
  • Postal delivery transfers.
